Numerous public figures, celebrities, writers, actors, musicians and journalists joined over 15,000 disaffected Hungarians and LGBT supporters, who gathered in front of Parliament, filling Budapest’s Fővám Square, to protest Hungary’s new anti LGBT+ Law, in what organizers called a nationwide resistance movement protesting alleged financial corruption in the government of autocratic Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, leader of Hungary’s Populist Fidesz Party.
